Guide 02 · For wearers and invited people
Invite people you trust
See the difference between your sharing permission and someone else's messaging consent.
You start the invitation
The wearer chooses a family member, friend, or caregiver and decides what information that person may receive. Adding a name or email address does not sign that person up or grant permission to send updates.
They join for themselves
The invited person creates a separate, limited contact login, confirms their own email, and accepts the invitation. They may do this while sitting beside you or remotely, but the choice and identity must be theirs.
Updates use email only. Each contact must confirm their email and independently choose whether to receive updates. Email verification alone is not opt-in.
Both sides stay in control
You can change your saved sharing choices. The invited person can stop a messaging channel independently, through their own email preferences or an unsubscribe link when delivery is available. A contact login never grants control over your Bee connection or privacy settings.
Saving a contact in setup does not send an invitation or give that person access. Invitations and messaging require a separate enrollment step.
