1. Scope and our role
This Privacy Policy applies to Always Near websites, account services, Bee connection, alerts, summaries, and support. Famplified LLC operates Always Near. The wearer or controller of the connected Bee account is the Always Near account owner and directs any sharing with trusted contacts.
Always Near is a consumer service and is not offered by a health plan or health care provider. Information in Always Near may not be protected by HIPAA. Other privacy, consumer-protection, health-breach, communications, and state laws may apply.
2. Information we collect
Account and verification information
Name, email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, verification status, language, time zone, and account security events.
Care profile and preferences
Broad age range, living arrangement, high-level baseline, reasons for using the service, categories of interest, delivery schedule, language, channels, consent version and time, optional brief context, and the processing-policy revision you accept. Topic-exclusion settings are no longer offered; formerly saved phrases are not used after you accept the revised policy. We do not require an exact date of birth, diagnosis, or medical record.
Bee-derived conversation information
Unfiltered, audio-derived conversation text you approve and source references needed for transient analysis; detected language; categories; confidence; timestamps; structured alerts and summaries; with no conversation evidence excerpt retained in the current trial. Full conversation text is not intended for permanent storage.
Trusted-contact information
Names, relationships, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery languages, verification status, channel choices, and delivery history for people you invite.
Technical and support information
Device and browser type, IP-derived security information, timestamps, authentication and diagnostic events, approximate region, communications with us, and content-free identifiers used to prevent duplicate processing and investigate abuse. We do not intentionally place raw conversation text in logs or analytics.
3. Sources
We receive information from you, from trusted contacts who verify or manage their delivery choices, from the Bee connection you authorize, automatically from your use of the service, and from vendors that help provide identity, security, delivery, and support.
4. How we use information
- Connect and authenticate your account and Bee feed.
- Analyze, translate, categorize, summarize, and organize potential signals.
- Deliver the alerts and summaries you direct to verified, opted-in contacts.
- Provide context, preferences, access, deletion, and support functions.
- Protect accounts, prevent duplicate processing, investigate abuse, debug without logging conversation bodies, and maintain service reliability.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims.
- Improve product quality using de-identified, aggregated, operational, and feedback data. We do not use your conversation content to train a general-purpose AI model.
5. AI processing
When Bee analysis is activated, Always Near will use automated systems and AI services to interpret audio-derived text. Input is not automatically filtered or redacted and may contain personal or sensitive information, including spoken secrets. We send the approved text to AWS AI; structured-output checks try to prevent recognized sensitive values from being retained or shared, but cannot guarantee complete detection. AI is imperfect and can make mistakes. Our processing design uses data minimization, access controls, short retention, and product rules to reduce risk, but cannot guarantee accurate or complete output.
The AI processing service is Amazon Bedrock, with model request-body logging disabled before any conversation is processed. Providers process information under their contracts, security controls, and applicable settings. See our Data & AI Policy for the lifecycle.
6. When we disclose information
- At your direction: to trusted contacts and channels you select.
- Service providers: to vendors supporting cloud hosting, AI processing, identity, security, email, phone ownership verification, optional calls, and support, subject to contractual and access restrictions.
- Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to valid legal process.
- Business transactions: in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of assets, with appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
- With consent: for another purpose clearly disclosed to you.
We do not sell personal information, conversation information, alerts, or summaries or use them for targeted advertising. Optional email updates contain neutral notices and sign-in links, not conversation text, evidence or sensitive alert details. Delivery requires current wearer permission, recipient opt-in and service availability.
When available, Always Near sends an explicitly requested verification text through AWS Notify. Always Near processes your phone number and the code you enter transiently to confirm ownership, retaining only a keyed digest of the code rather than the plaintext code. Codes and message bodies are not written to application logs or databases. AWS receives the number and message to deliver the text. Verification does not place a call, authorize future notices or send SMS updates. Availability is shown in settings.
For a separately requested test call or opted-in notice, CALL-E receives only the recipient phone, English locale and fixed test/category-summary instructions, never a verification code, Bee text, names, evidence or private model wording. Anyone answering could hear a notice category; neutral voicemail instructions are best effort. CALL-E may record or transcribe the telephone interaction under its own policies. Always Near does not retrieve or retain provider audio/transcripts; its seven-day evidence limit does not describe CALL-E’s independent retention. Review CALL-E’s terms and the separate call disclosure before requesting a test or opting in.
7. Retention
If conversation processing is enabled, encrypted queue copies are configured to expire within 15 minutes under normal processing; failed dead-letter copies expire within one hour. Successful processing deletes the queue message. We do not intentionally retain full conversation text in application databases, logs, analytics, or permanent object storage. The current trial does not retain conversation evidence excerpts.
Structured alerts, generated summaries, and content-free processing completion records are scheduled to expire 90 days after they are created. New account requests do not return an expired structured alert. Database time-to-live deletion happens in the background and may take additional time; point-in-time backups may retain earlier copies for up to 35 days after deletion. Content-free call-attempt receipts, monthly allowance records and retained reconnect preferences are scheduled to expire after 90 days; temporary invitations expire after 48 hours. SMS challenges stop being usable after ten minutes or five unsuccessful guesses. Only keyed digests and limited security metadata are stored; challenges and request receipts are scheduled for cleanup after 24 hours, send-rate records after 48 hours. Database deletion and backups follow the limits above. Preferences, consent records, contact settings, and security records are retained only while reasonably needed to provide the service, honor choices, secure the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Deletion requests remain subject to fraud prevention, legal holds, and lawful exceptions.
Verification-text privacy
We do not share mobile numbers for marketing or promotional use with third parties or affiliates. SMS opt-in consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. AWS Notify receives the number and verification message solely to deliver the text and does not share your number for marketing. Our providers may process necessary information to perform the requested service, protect against abuse, or meet legal requirements; this does not grant permission to use your number for promotions. Your request consent is recorded separately from future-call or notice preferences. Read the verification-text section of our Terms of Use and contact info@email.famplified.com with questions.
Planned SMS-notice privacy
FAMPLIFIED LLC operates Always Near and its planned optional transactional SMS-notice program. SMS notices are not active, and the carrier-review preview does not collect a phone number or record consent. Publishing this disclosure does not enroll an existing user.
If launched, the program will process the contact's confirmed mobile number, personal SMS consent and withdrawal records, current wearer sharing permission, and limited delivery and opt-out metadata to provide requested check-in and summary-availability notices, honor choices, prevent abuse and investigate delivery problems. Texts contain neutral sign-in links, not private Bee conversation text, wearer names, evidence excerpts or concern categories. The messaging provider receives the destination and neutral message for delivery.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers may process necessary information to deliver the requested service, protect against abuse or meet legal requirements; that does not permit their own promotions. Consent, delivery and suppression records follow the retention, security, backup and lawful-exception limits described in this policy, including keeping the records needed to honor opt-outs. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion as described under Your choices and rights.
When notices become available, recipients can reply STOP or withdraw their own notice consent; the wearer cannot opt them in. Verification texts and phone calls remain separate choices. Read the SMS Notice Terms or contact info@email.famplified.com. This clarifies the planned program and does not grant new processing permission or renew existing account consent.
8. Security
We use safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, short-lived processing paths, least-privilege permissions, verification, and separation of transient content from durable records. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You can review or change care-profile details, categories, delivery settings, languages, trusted contacts, and channel choices; disconnect Bee; withdraw future sharing; and request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. A trusted contact can stop a communication channel without the account owner’s permission. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know, correct, delete, obtain, or limit use of personal information and to appeal a denied request. We will verify requests and will not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
10. Children
Always Near owner accounts are for adults 18 and older. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow a child to create an account. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
11. International use
Always Near is currently operated from the United States. If you use it elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ. You remain responsible for local restrictions on recording, monitoring, and sharing conversations.
12. Breach notification
If a qualifying security incident affects protected information, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law, which may include consumer health breach notification requirements.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the service changes. We will post the effective date and provide additional notice or consent for material changes when required. Contact Famplified LLC at info@email.famplified.com for questions or privacy requests.
Optional website analytics - October 9, 2026 supplement
Google Analytics 4 is optional and stays off unless you choose Allow analytics. We measure fixed page names on the public website and portal, not conversation text, alert content, care profiles, names, contact details, account identifiers or form entries. We omit query values and URL fragments and do not measure sign-in callback, unsubscribe-code, unknown or other code-bearing URLs. Enhanced measurement, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.
If enabled, Google receives analytics cookie identifiers, fixed page information, browser/device details and connection information, and processes your IP address to derive approximate location. We do not attach your account identity. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days without automatic extension; the non-identifying choice cookie lasts up to 180 days and applies across our website and portal. Google event/user data retention is configured to two months; aggregated reports may remain longer under Google policies.
No Google analytics tag or measurement request is loaded before your choice. Choose No thanks or reopen Analytics choices at the bottom of any page to withdraw; we stop future measurement, remove analytics cookies available to this site and reload to unload the tag. Withdrawing does not erase information already received by Google. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping analytics off. Other open pages check for a changed choice within one second while active, or when revisited; requests already sent cannot be recalled. This separate optional choice does not authorize Bee analysis or alter care-circle sharing. See Google Privacy Policy for its processing practices.
